He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Laux and Arlene E. Laux (Schnase); and his parents-in-law, Carl and Audrey Whitcomb. He is survived by: his wife Carol Laux; his son Eric Laux; and his grandchildren, Hunter Laux, Gretna and Gretchen Laux.
Memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Nebraska Children's Home in Omaha.
