With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan E. Soucek of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Bladen, Nebraska, who passed away on November 20, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Budrow "Bud" Frank and Phyllis L. Wratten (Kile); her husband Jim; her children, Holly, Timothy, Jeff and Mitch; and her sister Jan Stuhr.
She is survived by: her brothers, Don Wratten (Patricia), Bud Wratten (Vicki) of Branson West, Missouri, Ron Wratten of Owasso and Cal Wratten (Donna) of Grand Island, Nebraska; her brother-in-law Ken Stuhr of Waco, Nebraska; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Soucek of McCook, Nebraska. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
