He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene H. Peterson and Orva M. Peterson (Saathoff); and his children, William, Julie and Christi.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Peterson; and his children, Jerry Jr. (Kolleen Peterson), Trishia Ann (James Hamilton), Kimberly Kay (Jim DuBois) and Mike (Mandy Bauer). He is also survived by Grandchildren: 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
