It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome William Kolbet of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Lawrence, Nebraska, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Kolbet and Magdalena Kolbet (Schumm); his wife Agnes Loskill; his siblings, Arthur Kolbet, Dolores Kolbet, Germaine Hemberger, Romuald Kolbet and Oscar Kolbet; and his grandson Josh Hedlund.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon (Don Hedlund), Hastings, Denise Kolbet (Michelle VanderWoude), Eva Roberts, LeAnn (Mike Olson) and Gary (Caroline Kolbet). He is also survived by Grandchildren: 8 Great-Grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Hastings Catholic Schools Foundation.
