With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Russell Moore of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Aurora, Nebraska, who passed away on October 24, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Moore and Mabel Moore (Stalker); his siblings, Shirley Hawthorne, Marilyn Rosenberry, Nancy Ziegler, David and Stanley; and his siblings-in-law, Les Hawthorne, Bob Rosenberry, Bob Ziegler, Marshall White, Jimmy Overturf and Diane Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia A. Overturf; his daughter Ann; his son-in-law Monty McCord of Hastings, NE; his son Patrick; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Moore of Waverly, NE; his grandson Walker (Megan Moore); his siblings, Ruth Hawthorne, Janice White, Paul Moore (Karen), Dennis Moore (Kathy), Lyle Moore (Vickie) and Wayne Moore; and his siblings-in-law, John Overturf (Diane), Jacqueline Moore and Pamela Overturf. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
