He was predeceased by: his father James Gleason (Jim); his parents-in-law, Leander and Anna Nowak; his grandparents, George, Hilda Himmelberg, Clifford and Cleone Gleason (Sabin); and his uncles, Clyde and Ron Gleason.
He is survived by: his mother Charleen Gleason (Himmelberg); his aunt Linda Stone; his wife Nancy; his daughters, Leah Birnie (Nathan) and Elizabeth Gleason (Dakota Harris); his granddaughter Eleanor Birnie; his siblings, Rita Leininger (Mike), Patty Sitorius (Greg), Diane Minihane (Chris), Greg Gleason (Michelle), Chuck Gleason and Robb Gleason; and his sister-in-law Denise Krueger (Byron). He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Catholic Social Services, St. Michael's Catholic Church, or Hunters for Youth.
