He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Maurer and Neola Maurer (York). He is survived by: his wife Donna Maurer; his children, Amy, Brad Petersen and Scott Maurer; his grandchildren, Cole, Murphy Maurer, Crayton Maurer and Kade Petersen; and his sister Sharon (Gary Rose).
