She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Freeman and Virginia Freeman (Vance); her husband James LaPorte; and her sister Dixie Monie. She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca; her son-in-law Ron Svoboda; her son Bryan; her daughter-in-law Tammy LaPorte; her brother Bill; and her siblings-in-law, Lindy Freeman, Hazel LaPorte and Harvey Dedrick.
Memorials may be given to Lakeside Church of the Nazarene.
