Gordon McLain Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon McLain of Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Marie McLain; his parents, George Dewey McLain and Lillith Eva McLain; and his brother George Donald McLain. He is survived by: his former spouses, Jannice Mae Whitmore and Jannice McLain; his daughter Shanda McLain (Rachael); his stepchildren, DeAnna Robertson (Bill), Vickie Gerloff (David), Gary Schmidt (Marlys) and Brenda Hayworth; and his nephew George Daniel McLain (Janice). He is also survived by 14 step grandchildren; 17 great step grandchildren; and many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
