She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Hauptman and Alice Hauptman (LaVigne); and her husband Jerry "Pat" Novacek. She is survived by: her son Jim (Julie Novacek). She is also survived by Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be set up at the Gothenburg Impact Center providing daycare and early childhood education.
