With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gerald Buhr of Hastings, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Buhr and Lula Buhr; his wife Patty Eckhardt; his sister Lavon Schroer; his siblings-in-law, Carol Eckhardt and Richard Haller; and his parents-in-law, Walter and Pauline Eckhardt.
He is survived by: his son Nathan Buhr; his daughter-in-law Wendy; his grandchildren, Payden and Brooklynn of Hastings Ne; his sisters, Linda Carllson (John) and Lois Verbeck (Steve); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Schroer, Marcy Haller and Mary Lyberis (Bob).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Apfel Funeral Home - Hastings (505 N Bellevue Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be donated to The Adams Central FFA Chapter.
