He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Young and Gertrude Young (Goings Nelson); his wife Sharon Rathjen; and his children, Cindy Young, Harold "Butch" Salmon and Kimberly Stamper.
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Angel Young, Steph, Brandy Salmon, Cameron, John Stamper, Robert Stamper, Danielle, Justin Young, Britny, Bradley McLaughlin and Kalena; and his great grandchildren, Angel Young, Jr., Zoee Young, Enya Young, Kimmie Stamper and Robert Stamper, Jr..
