He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Leonard Heidemann and Violet Heidemann (Chirnside); his wife Preceding; his parents-in-law, Edwin and Althea Moser; his brothers, Keith and Philip Heidemann; and his brothers-in-law, T. R. Hughes and Don McMahon.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Hulse (Ken) and Michael Heidemann (Nicholas Hall); his grandsons, Kenneth, Wyatt, Marcus Hulse and Matthew Haldeman; his siblings, Barbara McMahon of Huntsville, AL, Virginia Hughes of Seward and Mark Heidemann (Teri) of Seward; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Heidemann-Nelson of Lincoln, Mary Heidemann of Daykin and Sharon Sonnenschein (Clayton) of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
