He is survived by: his spouse D'Maris Brooks; his siblings, Gordon Brooks, Gayle Brooks, Roland Brooks, Barbara Rynearson and Darlene Stromer; his children, Lori Jurkowski, Todd Brooks and Brent (Erica Brooks); his grandsons, Adam Jurkowski, Nicholas Jurkowski, Joshua Brooks and Luke Brooks; his great grandchild AJ Jurkowski; his sister Joyce Bennett; and his siblings-in-law, Geneen and Gerald Zimmerman.
Memorials may be given to the family for a donation to the Alzheimer's Association of Nebraska.
