She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Anderson and Violette Anderson (Peterson); her former husband Gaylord "Gay" Gowen; her sisters, Esther (Joe Brown) and Betty (Leo Figurski); her siblings-in-law, Gordon, Doris Gowen, Leonard Gowen, Gerald and Betty Boswell; her parents-in-law, Clem and Hazel Gowen; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Gowen.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Gowen-Nieser (Don Nieser), Deb Gowen Virchow (Delbert Virchow), Neil (Monica Gowen) and Terry (Connie Gowen); her stepchildren, Roger (Arlene Hammond) and Debbie (Steve Hartman); her stepgranddaughter Gloria (Scott LeMaster); and her sister-in-law Maxine Gowen. She is also survived by Great-Grandchildren: 15 Step-Great-Grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church.
