She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Epkes and Anna Epkes (Schmidt); her sister Kathleen Gartner; her son Wade Martin; and her son-in-law Roger A. Alloway.
She is survived by: her husband Al Martin of Hastings, NE; her daughters, Kenna Sidlo (Steve Meyer) of Hastings, NE, Shawna (Keven Neujahr) of Gibbon, NE and Erin (Todd Tessman) of Hastings, NE; her stepdaughter Melody Scarborough of Gentry, AR; her grandchildren, Jared (Katie Sidlo), Travis Alloway (Tia), Luke Robinson (Austin), Marissa Applegate (Alec Applegate), Adalyn Applegate (Spencer Tessman) and Jake Tessman (Ayden Tessman); her great grandchildren, Elliott Sidlo, Creighton Sidlo, Karyss Sidlo, Everleigh Dubois, Porter Kinnaman, Charlotte Alloway, Reagan Applegate and Greyland Applegate; and her nieces, Linda Martilla and Brenda Boehnlein.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First St. Paul's Lutheran Church (501 N Burlington Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
