With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Marie (Foley) Thomas of Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ellen Marie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (301 W 7th St, Hastings, NE 68901). A rosary will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be gifted to the Hastings Catholic Schools Teacher Pay Endowment.
