She was predeceased by: her parents, John Boyd and Margaret Boyd (Williamson). She is survived by: her children, Andrea McAleese, Andrew'Andy' McAleese (Summer) and Alison Reents; and her siblings, John Boyd and Caroline Boyd. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
