With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Dudney of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Palmer, Nebraska, who passed away on May 20, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frederick L. Forbes and Nellie Russell Forbes; her brother John Forbes (Karen); her sister-in-law Jaci Miller of Central City, NE; her children, Debra Taylor (Bruce) of Lincoln, NE and Doug Dudney (Donna) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Anders Nelson (Amy), Benton Nelson (Shelley), Christopher Nelson (Lauren), Daniel Dudney (Candiace) and David Dudney (Johnna); her great grandchildren, Lilah, Adeline, Eloise, Georgia Nelson, Stella, Henry Nelson, Calen and Alayna Dudney; her husband Duane Dudney; and her sister Marilyn. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials be directed to Mary Lanning Healthcare Foundation, Hastings First United Methodist Church, or Hastings Second Presbyterian Church.
