With solemn reverence, we commemorate Donald L. Meininger of Hastings, Nebraska, whose life came to an end on February 23, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Meininger and Irene Meininger (Brouillette); his siblings, Evelyn Walling, Bud and Dale Meininger; and his former wife Shirley.
He is survived by: his parent-in-law Shirley Reichstein; his close friend Bob Taylor of Lincoln; his mother-in-law Shari Lewien Foote; his wife Shari Meininger; his children, Clay Meininger (Mary) of Topeka, KS, Jason Meininger of Lincoln, NE and Tyrell Nichols (Josh) of Cumming, GA; and his grandchildren, Chandler Meininger, Hayley Meininger, Lauren Meininger, Alaina Meininger, Finley Nichols and Gray Nichols.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral (422 N Burlington Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family.
