She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Kucera and Dolores Kucera (Kohmetscher); her parents-in-law, Joe and Clara Synek; and her sister-in-law Darlene Synek.
She is survived by: her husband John Synek; her children, Doug Synek (Paula) and Kathy Briggs (Larry); her grandchildren, Quentin Synek (Hope Kohmetscher), Jarrett Synek, Emma Synek, Tucker Synek, Natalie Briggs, Kayla Briggs and Haylie Briggs; her brothers, Joe Kucera (Lisa), Bob Kucera (Vicki), Dan Kucera (Diane), Mike Kucera (Karen) and Greg Kucera (Teena); her siblings-in-law, Richard Synek and Joyce Lang (LeRoy); and her aunts, Patty Kucera and Helen Kohmetscher. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church (506 Liberty St, Deweese, NE 68934). A rosary was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, it was her wish that memorials be given to a cause that is close to your own heart.
