We bid farewell to David L. Brown of Hastings, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 12, 2025 at the age of 86. David L. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Brown and Frances Brown (Breitfelder); his sisters, Kathleen Brown and Jeanine (Steve Friend); and his son-in-law Sidney Geil.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn K. Brown (Dillon); his daughters, Lori (Dave DuPree), Sheridan, Maureen (Michael Heaton) and Sheila (John Piepho); his grandchildren, Katie Magat (Eric), Nick DuPree, Kylie Heaton (Brittiany Crafton), James Heaton, Sean Heaton, Jacob Piepho, Joshua Piepho, Amelia Piepho and Carissa Geil; his great grandchildren, Violet Magat and Dahlia Magat; and his sister-in-law Frances Fairchild. He is also survived by Brother-in-law: Jack Dillon Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other extended family, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Hastings Catholic Schools Foundation, Catholic Social Services, or Good Samaritan Society Hastings Hospice.
