He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Smith and Alma Smith (Milegar); and his brother-in-law Alvin Wenske. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jones; his children, Randy Smith (Brenda) of Omaha, Cindy Sadd (Keith) of Omaha, Dan Smith (Joan) of Omaha and Tim Smith (Candi) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Jennifer Bregenzer (Justin), Darren Smith (Sarah), Melissa Buss, Kimberly Buss, Morgan Smith, Logan Smith and Hannah Smith; his great grandchildren, Sophia Smith, Gavin Smith, Aiden Smith, Maddox Smith, Preston Buss, Carson Buss, Amaya Buss and Theron Bregenzer; and his sisters, Jeanette Nall (Ron) and Mary Ellen Wenske. He is also survived by many other family members and long time friends.
