With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine A. Jorn of Hastings, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine A. Jorn to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Alford and Cathelma Alford; her husband Wilfred "Willy" Jorn; her sons, Thomas Jorn and Richard Allen; her grandson Travis James; her sisters, Roberta Alford and Dolly Egan; and her parents-in-law, Mary and Rollie Jorn.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa; her son-in-law David Wagner of Pine City, MN; her son Michael Jorn of Hastings; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Jorn (Thomas) of Elkhorn, NE. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (301 W 7th St, Hastings, NE 68901).
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association, American Parkinson Association, American Cancer Society, St. Cecilia Catholic Church, or to the donor's choice.
