He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Yurk and Mabel Yurk; his son Carl Yurk III; his son-in-law Timothy Aukerman; his parents-in-law, Willard and Florence Mills; and his siblings, Vera Windsor, David and Henry Yurk.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Mills; his children, Carolyn Aukerman of Lincoln, NE and Bradley Yurk of Hastings, NE; his daughter-in-law Ilene Yurk of Hastings, NE; his grandchildren, Amy Janvrin (Mike) of Lincoln, NE, Timothy Aukerman of Lincoln, NE, Elizabeth Botha of Dayton, OH, Jenna McQuesten (Yurk) of Hastings, NE, Garett Yurk (Jessica) of Hastings, NE, Mattison Yurk of Hastings, NE and Chandler Yurk of Hastings, NE; and his great grandchildren, Callahan, Carter, Harrison, Joanna, Johan, Adalyn, Jace, Giavanna, Retief, Owen, Cora, Sharae and Veda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
