It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda M. Jurgens of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francis Hense and Wilma Hense (Staack); her children, Nathan Jurgens (Melanie) of Hastings, NE and Rachel Sharpee (Jeff); her grandson Ryan of Nashville, TN.; her husband Rev. Bill Jurgens; and her parents-in-law, Louis and Wilma Jurgens.

A memorial has been established to the Beatrice Humane Society.
