It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard C. Schneider of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Lawrence, Nebraska, who passed away on August 10, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Schneider and Gertrude Schneider (Bencken); his brothers, Gilbert Schneider and Clarence Schneider; his grandson Preston Nathan; and his great grandchild Bella Rose Snyder.
He is survived by: his former wife Joan Karmazin; his son Ben; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Nitzel (Bleyhl); his wife Marilyn Schneider; his children, Diane (Steve Barton), Dale (Judy Schneider), Barb (Rich Renner), Cheyenne (Nancy Nathan), Troy Leitschuck (Sargent) and Randy (Eva Schneider); his stepchildren, Becky (Dan Buhr), Lincoln (Jeff), De Nitzel (Phoenix) and Angie (Brian Gage); and his brothers, Jim Schneider and Lincoln. He is also survived by Grandchildren: 11 Great-Grandchildren: 14 Great-Great-Grandchildren: 3 Step-Grandchildren: 15 Step-Great-Grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Paul and Neva Grace Foundation which funds The Grace Space Hospice House or to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
