She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alva Hock and Ida Hock; her siblings, Myron Hock, Shirley Pippin and Judy Gutzmer; her husband Jim Nitz; her children, Angela Shoemaker (Greg), Demian Pavlicek (Jill), Stacey Johnson (Tim) and Michael Sims (Fong); her grandchildren, Eric Johnson (Lacee), Nick Shoemaker, Alex Shoemaker, Hayden Shoemaker, Samantha Johnson, Audrey Pavlicek, Mason Pavlicek, RuiFei Sims and Mia Xi Sims; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Johnson, Bryson Johnson and Elijah Johnson. She was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery (12004 S Spur 56a, Maxwell, NE 69151).
