He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Amanda Cookson, Jordan Cookson (Tiffany Steinkraus) of Hastings and Joshua Cookson of Globe, AZ; his grandchildren, TaLonna Cookson-Reynolds and Rhetli Wade Cookson of Hastings; his siblings, Nancy Cookson of Lincoln, Orley Cookson of Lincoln and David Cookson (Stephanie) of Atlanta; his nephews, Robert Wolfe (Kendra) of New York and Matthew Carter of Lincoln, NE; his niece Carrie Wolfe of Scottsbluff; and also Karen Settles (Dennis) of Norfolk. He is also survived by niece and nephews and many friends.
