He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank G. Keiter and Katherine Keiter (Sohm); his siblings, Mary Frances Keiter, Theresa Keiter, Catherine Dierks and Jacob Keiter; his brother-in-law Ralph Dierks; and his niece Linda Dierks.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Darlene Keiter; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie Armentrout (Woody), Gina Dierks, Rev. Jim Keiter and Ken Keiter (Kayla).
