He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Thomsen (Christina) of Aurora and Kerri Engelbart of Fort Collins, Colorado; his granddaughters, Abby, Annelisa Jean and Elsa; his sister Linda Daniels (Lee) of Leawood, Kansas; his nephew Brian; his niece Sara; and his stepmother Rhea Thomsen of Superior.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
