He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry L. Weidner and Mildred R. Weidner (Schernikau); his wife Olga Kattau; and his son Dennis. He is survived by: his children, Denise Slama (Frank) of Dorchester, Deb Ourada (Tom) of Crete and Doug Kattau of Hallam; his grandchildren, Victoria Slama, Charles Slama (Codi), Eric Dewey (Blythe), Jaclyn Ourada (Jake), Jace Ourada (Mallory) and Madison Kattau; and his great grandchildren, Dewayne, Henry, Tony, Addison, Caleb, Charlie, Connor, Gwendolyn, Eric Jr., Heath, Harlow and Petra.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (11400 W Panama Rd, Crete, NE 68333).
