He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Melvin Hopper and Phyllis Ruth Hopper (McCoy); his brother Marvin Hopper; his parents-in-law, Charles and Mildred Cox; his son-in-law Scott Shubert; and his siblings-in-law, Lavon Huneke and Leland Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jo Cox of Johnson, NE.; his children, Nicole Shubert (Mike Ramsey) of Shubert, Doug Hopper of Falls City, NE and Eric Hopper (Amanda) of Dawson; his grandchildren, Chelsi Shubert, Skyler Hopper, Emma Shubert, Benjamin Shubert, Taylor, Tyler, Jayden and Jordan Hopper; his sister-in-law Phyllis Hopper of Kansas City, MO.; his aunt Sharon; his uncle Clint Rail of Lincoln, NE.; and his cousin Irene Schubert of St. Joseph, MO..
