She was predeceased by: her husband Don; and her sister Patricia Daugherty. She is survived by: her grandparents, Beth and Robert Klee; her children, Gordon Schiermeyer (Kathy) of Guide Rock, Nebraska, Deb Ridgway (Perry) of Fairfield, Lonnie Schiermeyer of Superior and Daren Schiermeyer (April) of Carlton, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Brett Kowalski, Jacklyn Ridgway, Roland Diaz and Kyle Ridgway; her stepgrandchildren, Jeremiah Michels, Justin McCutcheon, Jordon Michels and John Lawrence; her great grandchild Oaklee Kowalski; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Isabel, Rylan and Chase McCutecheon; and her sister-in-law Arcele Simpson of Red Cloud. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
