He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Danenhauer and Mary Danenhauer (Nemnich); his siblings, Carolyn Baird, Jim and Eldon Danenhauer; and his son Carl Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Agatha Smock (Aggie); and his children, Bill, Jr. Danenhauer (Donna) of Omaha, Bob Danenhauer (Shelley) of Omaha, Becky Thatcher (Todd) of Delta, CO and Brenda Bland (Mike) of Gretna, NE. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
