He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman and Mary; his wife Katie; his son John; his grandson Matthew Thiele; his brothers, Paul and Franklin; and his son-in-law Harold Thiele.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Thiele, Joan Wilson and Mary Totusek (Rick); and his sister Marlene Prohaska. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic, all services will be PRIVATE with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Catholic Church and Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery with Military Honors by American Legion Post #32 and the US Navy Honor Guard.
