He is survived by: his wife Freda Bauer (Stoops); his children, Scott Bauer, Allison Bauer (Crane), Leah Bauer and Stacy Lerner; his grandchildren, Meredith Waldref (Christopher Waldref), Trevor Pentzien (Kylie Schiermann), Elise Bauer and Tristan Bauer; and his great grandchildren, Wilhelmina Waldref and Hugo Waldref.
