He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Staudenraus (Mattice) and William "Bill" Staudenraus. He is survived by: his wife Becky; his sons, Mitchell Mattice (Megan) and Clayton Mattice (Jenny Grant); his brother-in-law Bill Baker; his sisters, Pamela Rebori and Mary Ann Swick; and his grandchildren, Makayla and Milo Mattice.
Additionally, during covid, he learned how to fly an airplane by watching instructional videos presented by certified flight instructors.
