He was predeceased by: his wife Lois; and his parents, Edwin Ellwanger (Bob) and Irene Ellwanger (Greeno). He is survived by: his children, Jeff Ellwanger (Marva), Michelle Ellwanger and Gina Sturdevant; his grandchildren, April Ellwanger-Smith (Ken), J. D. Ellwanger, Kylie Ellwanger, Spencer Ellwanger, Thomas Ellwanger, Emony Roberts (Avery) and Nathaniel Sturdevant; and his great grandchildren, Avery Roberts, Jr. and Alani Roberts.
