She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cox and Lulu Cox (Ruyle); her husband Ernest Woita; her daughter Marcia Grothe; and her sisters, Alice Nelson (Donald), Laura Miller (Alvin) and Patricia Durbin (James).
She is survived by: her children, Melodee Hightshoe (Allen) of Ashland and Michael Woita (Becky) of Omaha; her son-in-law Tom Grothe (Gayle) of Elkhorn; and her grandchildren, Todd Schwock (Leigh Ann Stanzel), Theresa Koehler, Joseph Grothe (Savanah) and Jacob Grothe (Emily Peklo). She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
