It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lee Kennel of Gretna, Nebraska, who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, V. W. Kennel (Shorty) and JoAnn Kennel (Scheef); and his siblings, Carol Kennel and Don Kennel. He is survived by: his daughter Shauntay Kennel Dias of Commerce City, CO; his granddaughters, Serena Meraz of Boulder, CO, Alexa Montano and Alissa Montano of Commerce City, CO; and his siblings, Bill Kennel (Avis) of Warroad, MN, Lois Johnson (Jim) of Goodridge, MN and Dan Kennel (Deb) of Republic, MO.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
