She was predeceased by: her friend Jean Church; her husband Patrick Haws; her parents, Harold Weaver and Bernice Weaver; her granddaughter Elizabeth Poppert; and her sister Lucille Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Haws, Diane Poppert (Kyle), Paul Haws and Eun Young Cho (Syeng Pyo Lee); her sisters, Carol Jean Hardesty (Larry) and LaVonne Albright (Gary); and her grandchildren, Patrick Haws-Larsen, Andrew Niebur, Alecz Alverado (Oscar) and Devon Niebur-Haws. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Dorothy also oversaw the health care of her long-time friend Jean Church who had Alzheimer's until her death in 2007.
