With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis D. Mattes (Gretna, Nebraska), born in Ponca, Nebraska, who passed away on March 18, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Mattes and Dorothy Mattes (Weaver); and his brother Franklin Mattes. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Erik Mattes (Pola), David Mattes (Kayla) and Bryan Mattes; his granddaughters, Tamalii, Ellie and Kolbi Mattes; and his sisters, Shirley Fredricksen and Ellen Collins.
