She is survived by: her husband Doug Brown of Avoca, IA; her children, Julie Brown-Crist (Shannon) of Parker, CO and Richard Brown of Gretna, NE; her grandchildren, Cameryn, Kathryn Crist of Parker, CO, Emily Murray (Jon) of Omaha, NE, Abby Warne (Adam) of Omaha, NE, Lily Brown of Gretna, NE and Michael Brown of Gretna, NE; her great grandchild Sebastian Warne; and her sister Carmen Craney (Wayne) of Oklahoma City, OK. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (109 N Maple St, Avoca, IA 51521). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Avoca CountryView Golf Club.
