She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Johnson and Blanche Johnson (Lund); her husband Preceding; her son Edward; and her brothers, Victor Johnson (Dorothy) and Dwight Johnson (Gen).
She is survived by: her children, Gerry George (Pam) of Gresham, Lanette Bathen (Jim) of David City, NE and Geniece Courtright (John) of Los Alamos, NM; her grandchildren, Craig George (Heather Stringer) of Palmyra, Brenda Smith (Nic) of Murdock, Betsy Perkins (Layne) of Hickman, Gabe Bathen (Jill) of York, Kylie Hollatz (Willie) of Creston, Abby Kramer (Patrick Ference) of Hickman, Amanda Courtright of Midland, TX, Riley Courtright (Kate) of Papillion and Shelby Runyon (Parker) of Overland Park, KS; and her great grandchildren, Bailey, Brady Bathen, Izabel, Vylet, Layla Hollatz, Paisley, Hattie, Scarlett Kramer, Braylon, Brantley Perkins, Kendyl, Mason George, Sawyer, Collin Smith, Caysen, Tatum, Tristen, Camryn Courtright and Harper Cox.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Metz Mortuary (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gresham Presbyterian Church (400 Pine St, Gresham, NE 68367).
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
