He is survived by: his children, Vicki (Steve) of Gurnee, Twila of Utica and Kent (Teri) of Utica; his wife Elvyna Herbst; his grandchildren, Regan and Kali Fickel; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Herbst (Connie) of Ephraim, Gaylord Herbst (Linda) of Egg Harbor, Terry Herbst (Paula) of St. Francis, Wisconsin and Pam Bee (Robert) of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
