David Drake Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Drake (Gresham, Nebraska), who passed away on August 19, 2019 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene "Gene" and Vivian Drake (Broton); his brother James "Chip" Drake; his siblings-in-law, Leon Pherson and Jan Drake; and his pets, Cat and Pepper.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Drake of Waco; his children, Christine VanAusdal (Ronald) of Cheney, WA, Bobbie Kommes (Brian) of Howard, SD, Derek Drake of Lincoln, NE and Dustin Drake (Staci) of Waco; his grandchildren, Hunter, Richard, Christopher, Jordan, Sara, Emelie, Kommes, Cody, Kayla and Katie; his pet Smoky; his sisters, Maribeth Bradley (Scott) of Devils Lake, ND and Dawn Drake of Grand Forks, ND; his sister-in-law Holly Pherson of West Fargo, ND.; and his niece Megan Estenson.
