He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Mae Schuelke (Hammer) and William Schuelke; and his brothers, Billy Schuelke and Ronnie Schulke. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Kevin Schuelke (Debbie), Jonnie Schuelke (Kevin), Montica LaRue (Heath), Mollie Miriovsky (Mike), Luke Boldt (Melissa), Rebekah "Beki" Maahs (Zach) and Levi Boldt (Jillian); his grandchildren, Chase LaRue (Brittany), Kensly Williams (Keegan), Jacob Schuelke, Kyle Schuelke, Chelsie LaRue, Cheyenne Schuelke (Kari), Bailey Lovell (Coleton), Haylee Boldt, Emah Maahs, Logan Schuelke, Macy Skinner (Justin), Sam Boldt, Morgan Schuelke, Nicholas Miriovsky, Katy Boldt, Nolan Maahs, Stephen Miriovsky, Marin Maahs, Landry Maahs and Hendrix Boldt; his great grandchildren, Ryot LaRue, Liam LaRue, Recker LaRue, Rowdie LaRue, Emmett Williams, Elsie Williams and Ransom LaRue; his brother Danny Schuelke; and his sister-in-law Mary Schuelke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waverly Chapel (10851 N 148th St, Waverly, NE 68462). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the CST Roper & Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516).
