He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kasten and Amanda Kasten (Olson); and his sister Evelyn Strate. He is survived by: his wife Bertha; his children, Kenneth of Ashland, Keith of Greenwood, Kevin of Omaha and Kathryn of Hastings; and his granddaughter Charlotte Kasten.
