She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Woods and Mary Edith Woods (Leetch); her husband Lloyd Vernon Hixon; her children, Shirley Clayton (Hixon) and Lloyd Dean Hixon (Sandie); her grandson Darryl; and her siblings, Harold (Evelyn), Ester (Lyle), Betty Jean (Chuck) and Eryle.
She is survived by: her pets, Tiger and Daisy; her grandchildren, Nilla Claymon of Amherst, Colorado, Jeana Hixon of Payson, Arizona, Daren Claymon (Liz) of Lincoln, NE and Matt Hixon (Heidi) of Loveland, Colorado.; her great grandchildren, Lacey, Beau Taylor, Dietrich, Audrey Hitt, Hayden (Wes Salyards) and Drake Hixon; and her niece Isla Powell (Dwayne) of Central City.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial to the Grant Awanas Club has been established and will be greatly appreciated by the family.
